Required Selection Criteria

Competencies

- Ability to perform a variety of standard tasks related to financial resources management, including screening and collecting documentation, financial data processing, filing, provision of information;

Ability to work systematically, accurately, independently and under pressure;

-  Ability to draft clear and concise communications and to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Focuses on result for the client and responds positively to feedback.

Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude.

-     Actively works towards continuing personal learning and development, acts on learning plan and applies newly acquired skills.

§  Ability to perform a broad range of specialized activities related to financial resources management, including formulating budgets, reporting, screening and collecting documentation, financial data processing;

§  Sound knowledge of financial rules and regulations, accounting

§  Ability to work systematically, accurately, independently and under pressure;

§  Ability to draft clear and concise communications and to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

§  Ability to provide inputs to development of new processes and procedures and implementation of new systems;

§  Demonstrate openness to change

§  Shares knowledge and experience and encourages office staff in knowledge sharing and continuing personal learning;

§  Focuses on result for the client and responds positively to feedback.

§  Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude.

§  Actively works towards continuing personal learning and development, acts on learning plan and applies newly acquired skills.

 

Education/Experience/Language

 

§  Secondary education with Certification in Accounting, Finance and Audit is required. University degree in Business or Public Administration would be desirable but is not a mandatory requirement.

§  At least 6 years of progressively responsible accounting, finance and audit experience.

§  Fluency in both English and Myanmar/Burmese languages are required.

§  Strong IT skills, Experience in the use of management support software applications (ERP – type) and other computerized/ web-based management systems.  Advance knowledge of spreadsheets (preferably MS Excel) and word processing software packages (preferably MS Word).  Experience in the use of ATLAS would be an asset.
